This course
is available as a degree with foundation year, which is a four-year program
that offers an extra foundation year at the start of the degree. This
additional year will give you the academic and practical experience you need,
along with the skills you need to make sure you are prepared to finish your
chosen degree.
To increase your employability even
more, this course gives all students the opportunity of a one-year paid work
placement. If you decide to go this path, you will return to finish your degree
after taking the placement exam after the second year of your course.
What makes taking a placement
necessary?
A placement year is the ideal way to
complement the job skills we will teach you in this degree program with useful
work experience. The contacts you create throughout the placement will further
enhance your professional opportunities and provide you with the tools required
to land graduate-level work.
How we assist you
The Placement and Work Experience
Team at the University is highly skilled in assisting you in obtaining a
placement. From the beginning, they will collaborate directly with you to help
you find placement opportunities, investigate possible employers, prepare and
present your resume, and receive interview coaching. Although we cannot promise
a placement, our industry-leading consultants will increase your chances of
getting one.
Study Abroad (Optional)
In your second semester of your
second year, you might choose to study abroad as part of this course toward
your degree.
