Master Of Science In Environmental Management

University of Hertfordshire, United Kingdom

Course Overview

Our Environmental Management MSc program gives you the opportunity to acquire the knowledge and abilities necessary to implement environmentally sustainable solutions within businesses and organizations worldwide, regardless of whether you are a graduate seeking a career in environmental management or an experienced environmental professional. Environmental management is becoming more and more important for all kinds of organizations, both in the UK and around the world. As environmental concerns become more evident, there is an increasing need for competent and trained environmental managers, and this demand is not going away. Our MSc in Environmental Management offers a flexible and wide-ranging study plan that gives students a solid foundation in the core concepts of environmental management, such as environmental auditing, the selection, creation, and application of a variety of environmental tools and techniques, such as Lifecycle Assessment, EIA, and ERA, as well as familiarity with environmental laws and policies. The first step toward becoming a Chartered Environmentalist is completing this recognized MSc in Environmental Management. After completing the five required core taught courses, students select three elective modules. Additionally, students finish two modules—Research Project and Research Methods—that are designed to help them with their individual research projects. You may choose to base your study on an environmental management topic that piques your interest or is pertinent to your company. An academic staff member will mentor you during the research phase.
