Did you just complete your studies at the htk academy or are you currently enrolled? If so, we have exciting news! You now have the opportunity to enroll in our hands-on BA in Communication Design program at UE, allowing you to earn a bachelor's degree. This program includes two or three theory courses and runs concurrently with your practical coursework. As a htk graduate, you've likely fulfilled the necessary work experience, leading to a reduction in your mandatory internship period, which can be completed during semester breaks. Upon successfully completing the required UE courses and internship, you will be granted a bachelor's degree.
It
was formed in 2017 as the University of Applied Sciences Europe by a merger of the Business and Information
Technology School and the Berliner Technische
Kunsthochschule. The university was previously owned by the
American company Laureate Education and
was acquired by Global University Systems in
2018. In October 2020, the university changed its name to University of Europe
for Applied Sciences.
Graduates have the opportunity to obtain a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Design at the UE in Hamburg (German programme) or Berlin (English programme) after graduating from htk.
The time spent at the htk is credited and within the framework of our htk Top-Up, the Bachelor's degree can be obtained in a shorter time. Due to the close proximity of the htk to the UE, there is no need to move to a new home to study, so you can study in peace and quiet in your familiar surroundings.
