The core focus of the MSc Data Analytics program centers on the examination of data and the extraction of valuable insights from it. Developing predictive models stands out as a crucial task for data analysts. The demand for professionals skilled in data analytics has witnessed a significant surge in recent years. This is attributed to companies increasingly relying on data science for various aspects such as business understanding, data comprehension, data preparation, modeling, evaluation, and deployment. Consequently, there is abundant opportunity for students to secure fulfilling positions within the realm of data analytics. Upon completion of the program, you will attain a master’s degree carrying 180 UK credits, which is equivalent to 90 ECTS. This facilitates student mobility within the EU, allowing for the seamless transfer of credits between higher education institutions.
Over the initial three terms, the curriculum will encompass essential subjects such as database management, statistical analysis, predictive analytics, and visualization. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to concurrently delve into the German language while pursuing their master's degree coursework. In the concluding term, participants will engage in independent research and the preparation of a dissertation centered around a topic of their choosing.
